With a background in dentistry, Lindsey qualified as a dental hygienist in 1983. In 1990, she moved to Germany, raising two children and working for several organisations on a voluntary basis. Returning to the UK in 1999, she became attracted to complementary therapies which she had experienced herself for many years. She qualified as a reflexologist in 2002, gaining further qualifications in Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candling during 2004.
